Kevin understands the crucial role FCSS plays in the lives of Albertans. 

Municipal councils and the province joined forces to ensure social services are available to all Albertans. FCSS boards help us fulfill this role. With 7 years of experience on his local board, with several years as chair, Kevin can see the value and benefit of FCSS and help articulate a vision for the FCSSAA based on proven results.

Committed to leading our board and enhancing our relationship with the Province.

The FCSSAA needs to continue to advocate to the province so that it understands how essential the services provided are. Often, these services are provided on the province's behalf, having been downloaded to local governments. Nonetheless, FCSS boards and their teams always rise to the challenge to provide these services to Albertans. FCSSAA needs to strongly advocate but do so in a manner that is likely to be heard by provincial partners.

Our FCSS programs and areas work well together to ensure Albertans don't "fall through the cracks". Community organizations of all stripes need to come together to ensure the wellbeing of their communities. Kevin draws on his experience as Reeve of Beaver County in valuing the input of many stakeholders and successfully collaborating towards common goals.

On the Outside

Kevin brings leadership, extensive FCSS experience, and a fresh approach to the leadership of FCSSAA. Electing Kevin is a chance to reset some relationships, pivot on others, and bring about positive change.
